Chevrolet Service FAQs

Proper maintenance protects your vehicle investment, preserves warranty coverage and keeps your Chevrolet performing the way it should.

Fertitta Chevrolet combines certified Chevrolet technicians, genuine GM parts and convenient service options — including Quick Lane express service and Mobile Service+ — for customers across the Bay Area Houston region.

What vehicles can Fertitta Chevrolet service?

Our certified service center handles Chevrolet cars, trucks, SUVs and electric vehicles. We can also service most other GM brands and many non-GM makes when parts and diagnostic capability allow. Contact us with your VIN so the team can confirm whether we can perform the requested work.

Why should I use a certified Chevrolet service center?

Factory-trained technicians, GM-approved diagnostic tools, manufacturer-specified procedures and genuine GM parts are especially important for maintaining warranty coverage, addressing recalls and keeping your vehicle running to specification. Authorized warranty and recall work must be completed at a certified facility.

Can you service a vehicle I did not purchase at Fertitta Chevrolet?

Yes. Our service department is open to all customers regardless of where the vehicle was purchased. Provide the VIN, mileage and a description of the concern so we can review the request before scheduling.

How do I schedule a service appointment?

You can schedule online through our website anytime, or call our service department at 281-816-7583 during business hours. We offer convenient drop-off, loaner vehicles and shuttle service depending on availability and the scope of work.

What is Quick Lane service?

Quick Lane at Fertitta Chevrolet is designed for fast, routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements and multi-point inspections. Most Quick Lane services are completed in approximately one hour. Reserve a Quick Lane visit.

Do you offer Mobile Service+?

Yes. With Mobile Service+, our team can perform select maintenance and light repairs at your home or office in the Bay Area Houston region, eliminating the need for a trip to the dealership. Contact us to confirm whether the service you need qualifies.

Will I receive an estimate before work begins?

Yes. After the initial inspection or diagnostic review, your service advisor will explain the recommended work and estimated charges. Additional work beyond the original request should not be completed without your authorization.

How long will service take?

Timing depends on the type of service, parts availability, technician scheduling and the scope of work. Your advisor will provide an initial time estimate and communicate any changes as the work progresses.

Will I receive updates during service?

Yes. Your advisor will confirm your preferred communication method and provide updates at appropriate points, including diagnosis findings, parts arrival, additional recommendations and completion timing.

Do you use genuine GM parts?

Yes. Genuine GM and ACDelco parts are used for applicable repairs and maintenance. If an alternative part is recommended in a specific situation, the option will be explained and approved before installation. Order parts online.

Can I order parts directly?

Yes. Our parts department can order genuine GM parts and Chevrolet accessories. Use our online parts request form or call 281-816-7585. We also offer spray-in bedliners, performance parts and Chevrolet accessories.

Where can I buy tires for my Chevrolet?

Use our online tire finder to shop by vehicle or tire size. Our service center installs all major tire brands and handles rotations, balancing and alignments.

Does Fertitta Chevrolet have a collision and body shop?

Yes. Our collision center handles dent repair, paint work, frame straightening and insurance claim coordination. Contact our body shop team for an estimate and to discuss the repair process.

Do you offer service and parts specials?

Yes. We regularly run service and parts specials including discounts on oil changes, tire services, brake work and seasonal maintenance. Check our website for current offers or ask your advisor at the time of your visit.

How often should my Chevrolet be serviced?

Service intervals depend on the model, mileage, driving conditions and the Chevrolet Oil Life Monitor or recommended maintenance schedule. Our team will review your vehicle history and advise on the appropriate service timing.

Can you perform recall and warranty work?

Yes. As a certified Chevrolet dealer, we handle manufacturer recalls and warranty repairs at no charge for eligible vehicles. Contact us with your VIN so we can check for any open recalls or warranty items.

What should I bring to my service appointment?

Bring the vehicle key, wheel-lock key if applicable, warranty or service-contract documents, and any notes, photographs or videos related to the concern. Remove personal valuables before dropping off the vehicle.
